The Chinese art of balancing and harmonizing the flow of natural energies in our environment is called Feng Shui. The purpose of Feng Shui is to create better health, increase energy and vitality, joy, and good luck. And, who doesn’t want more of that!
Clearing clutter is the most basic and powerful energy
transforming aspects of Feng Shui.
The basic premise of Feng Shui is that all things are alive and vital with Chi or life force energy. All things are energy and as we shift energy on one thing it affects the energy of others. When you release energy from your environment it also affects your body and your aura. As you begin to feel more positive, you create or attract what you desire into your life.
As you create harmony outside, you create harmony inside and vice-versa.
Let go of the old. Clutter creates delay.
If you want new ideas and energy to come your way, make room for new information by clearing clutter from your home or office. Start by clearing closets and your attic. If you are overwhelmed by that thought then, simply start with a desk or dresser drawer.
While clearing clutter, create a grounding cord by dropping an energetic line or cord from the base of your spine to the center of the Earth. Allow all the energy from your body and aura to release down the grounding cord, recycling in the center of the Earth.
While clearing a room, create a grounding cord for the room by attaching a cord to the room and dropping it to the center of the Earth. Allow the room to release all negative , old, and foreign energy. Then clear your desk, kitchen clutter, garage clutter, bathroom clutter, old cosmetics, and your car. Let go of old love letters, broken items, old records, old clothes, old books, extra blankets and anything you are no longer using.
Grounding while clearing clutter is not necessary however, you will find it helps you to stay clear and focused and allows easy release of the energy. You may also notice that your work becomes effortless and efficient. Energetically, as you release energy from old and tired stuff, you reclaim your own energy and increase your vitality.
Space clearing is empowering and you will be amazed at how energetic you will feel, attracting positive experiences and situations into your life.
